  • Usage tips

    Use: In a conventional oven (300°C maximum), microwave oven if sized appropriately, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

    Never use:

    • Directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, ceramic hob, grill or barbecue.
    • A chipped or partially broken dish

    Precautions for use:

    Avoid sudden changes in temperature:

    Do not:

    • Place a hot dish on a damp or cold surface
    • Immerse a hot dish in cold water
    • Add cold liquid to a hot dish (add hot water only if necessary)

    Care instructions:

    • Wash before first use.
    • Avoid abrasive cleaners.
    • Washing in a dishwasher under abnormal conditions such as excessive water temperature and detergent dose may damage the decoration, glass and lid. In the event of burnt or stuck food, we recommend leaving the dish to soak in soap and water once it has cooled.

    Our glass, although more resistant than others, can break into several pieces or be chipped as a result of repeated mechanical shocks.

    The main causes of mechanical shocks:In the dishwasher: repeated shocks during washing if the dish is not stable in the dishwasher, or a dish that has had a shock before being washed.

    Always check the condition of the dish before putting it in the dishwasher: when putting away, incorrect stacking or bumping into another dish can cause a chip or the beginnings of a break, which can lead to subsequent breakage Check from time to time that there are no chips or bumps.

Courgette flan with tomato sauce

  • 5 courgettes
  • 5 eggs
  • 200mL milk
  • 200mL double cream
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • tomato passata or tomato sauce

Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C, gas mark 4).

Stage 2

Wash and grate the courgettes, then set them aside.

Stage 3

In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add salt and pepper. Pour in the milk and double cream, and mix well.

Stage 4

Place the grated courgettes in an ovenproof dish, then pour the egg and cream mixture over the top.

Stage 5

Bake for 40 minutes, or until the flan is set and golden on top.

Stage 6

Serve with tomato passata or your favourite tomato sauce. The flan can be enjoyed hot or cold.
