Cod with sage butter and potatoes

A rustic feast: golden potatoes, tender cod, topped with sage-flavored butter, an explosion of flavors.




  • 1kilo of potatoes
  • 1 cod fillet
  • 100g butter
  • 10 sage leaves
  • Salt / pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Herbe de Provence


Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c

Stage 2

Cut the potatoes into quarters, place them in an ovenproof dish. Add a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with Provence herbs. Add the backs of cod.

Stage 3

Bake for 15 min

Stage 4

Meanwhile, make the sage butter.

Stage 5

Melt the butter over low heat with the whole sage leaves. The butter should foam slightly but do not let it brown . Remove the sage leaves.

Stage 6

Take the potatoes and cod out of the oven, arrange on a plate, pouring the sage butter over the cod.
