  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 Frankfurt sausages
  • 4 tablespoons of mustard or ketchup (or a mix of both)
  • Large sweet and sour pickles
  • 30g of cripsy fried onions
  • Melted butter or olive oil for brushing the buns

Recipe

Stage 1

Cook the sausages in a pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Set aside.

Stage 2

Slice the hot dog buns, but don’t cut them all the way through. Spread mustard, ketchup, or both inside the buns, according to your taste.

Stage 3

Place one sausage into each bun.

Stage 4

Add pickle slices on top.

Stage 5

Drizzle with ketchup or mustard, then sprinkle crispy fried onions over each hot dog.
