Frozen Strawberry Mochi

Sweet marriage of sweet rice flour, delicately shaped into a soft embrace, enveloping a melting strawberry ice cream. Irresistible frozen treat!




  • 100g glutinous rice flour
  • 45g sugar
  • 145g water
  • Cornstarch
  • Strawberry ice cream



    Stage 1

    Mix the flour, sugar and water in a saucepan, pouring little by little. Whisk to combine.

    Stage 2

    Heat over low heat until you have a compact dough, mix with a spatula.

    Stage 3

    Place cornstarch on the work surface, place the mochi dough on top and put more cornstarch on top. Cover your hands and the rolling pin.

    Stage 4

    Roll out the dough into circles. Add more cornstarch if the dough is too sticky.

    Stage 5

    Make a ball of ice cream, place it in the center of the circle and close the mochi. Return to the freezer for about 2 hours.
