  • 6 parsnips
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • Leftover turkey or chicken
  • 250ml milk
  • salt/pepper


    1. Preheat oven to 250°c
    2. Wash, peel (save the peelings for future vegetable bouillon or potato chips - if organic), chop and steam parsnips and potatoes for 30 min.
    3. Mash the vegetables, add milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
    4. Sauté the onion in a pan. Add the chopped meat pieces.
    5. Place the meat at the bottom of the dish and add the mashed vegetables on top.
    6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
