  • 2 sheets all-butter puff pastry
  • 200g spread (chocolate or hazelnut)
  • 50g mascarpone
  • 75g heavy cream
  • sugar
  • mini easter eggs

Recipe

Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C and place a mixing bowl to chill in the fridge.

Stage 2

Unroll your first puff pastry sheets.

Stage 3

Spread your chosen filling.

Stage 4

Cover with the second puff pastry sheet. Using a pizza cutter, slice into strips.

Stage 5

Twist the strips and roll them into spirals.

Stage 6

For glazing, brush with a bit of milk.

Stage 7

Sprinkle on top with sugar.

Stage 8

Bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Stage 9

Place the heavy cream and mascarpone in the chilled mixing bowl, whisk until whipped cream forms.

Stage 10

Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag and pipe onto the pastries.

Stage 11

Decorate with Easter eggs of choice.
