Rice meatballs with ham and tomato sauce

  • 150g of cooked rice
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 30g of grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • g biscuits (for breadcrumbs)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil (for brushing)

Recipe

Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a bowl, mix the cooked rice, chopped ham slices, grated cheese, and egg. Season with salt and pepper.

Stage 2

Form into meatballs. If the mixture is too wet, add a little flour.

Stage 3

Roll the meatballs in homemade breadcrumbs (simply crush a few biscuits to make them).

Stage 4

Place the meatballs in an ovenproof dish and lightly brush with olive oil.

Stage 5

Bake for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Stage 6

Serve with tomato sauce.
