Lemon squares

A divine creation: a crispy cookie crust, velvety lemon cream, and a touch of lemony freshness. A dazzling delight!




  • 200g flour
  • 75g brown sugar
  • 150g soft butter
  • 100g sugar (for the lemon cream)
  • 3 eggs (for the lemon cream)
  • 3 lemons (for the lemon cream)
  • 2 tablespoons of corn flour (for the lemon cream)


Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c

Stage 2

Mix the flour with the sugar and the butter. If the dough is still a little sticky, add more flour. Crush this dough at the bottom of your mold of the same thickness.

Stage 3

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Stage 4

Meanwhile prepare the lemon cream, in a bowl mix the eggs with the sugar.

Stage 5

Squeeze the 3 lemons to obtain the juice. Mix the juice with the cornstarch. Add the zest of a lemon.

Stage 6

Put everything over low heat. Mix until the cream thickens. Set aside.

Stage 7

When the biscuit is cooked, place the cream on top and put it back in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes.

Stage 8

Leave in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.

Stage 9

Sprinkle with icing sugar and lemon pieces.
