Little Heart-Shaped Biscuits with Strawberry Jam

  • 100g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 250g flour
  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • Icing sugar
  • Strawberry jam

Recipe

Stage 1

The butter should be soft. Mix it with the sugar.

Stage 2

Add the egg, mix, then add the flour.

Stage 3

Knead the dough by hand. Wrap it in cling film and chill for 1 hour.

Stage 4

On a floured work surface, roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to cut out hearts. Then, using a smaller cookie cutter, form a small heart in some of the biscuits

Stage 5

Place the biscuits on a baking tray and chill for another 10 minutes.

Stage 6

Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 10 minutes.

Stage 7

Once the biscuits are baked and cooled, place a bit of jam on one and close with another biscuit.

Stage 8

Dust with icing sugar.
